Now let's get really controversial. Which is more dangerous — your doctor or your gun?
Let’s start off with two statistics from the US Department of Health and Human Services.
Now, let’s consider two other facts, this time from the FBI:
Conclusion: Statistics show doctors are about nine thousand times more dangerous than gun owners. Or to put it another way — guns don't kill people, doctors do.
Well, not everyone has a gun, but nearly everybody has at least one doctor. Here's the hard pill to swallow — you are over nine thousand times more likely to be killed by a doctor than by a gun owner. Pass it on.

- Statistic Number Two: 120 thousand accidental deaths are caused by physicians per year.

- Statistic Number Three: There are 80 million gun owners in the United States.
- Statistic Number Four: The number of accidental gun deaths per year — all ages included — is 1,500.
