Spain Ready to Turn Filmmaker Over to Pakistan Because Mohammed Is Beyond Criticism
Bare Naked Islam
Imran Firasat, an ex-Muslim convert to Christianity, faces criminal charges and deportation from Spain for making the recently-released video called The Innocent Prophet that is critical of Islam and the prophet Mohammed. If he is sent back to his native Pakistan, he will likely face the death penalty for blasphemy and apostasy.
Imran Firasat is a Pakistani ex-Muslim who was welcomed into Spain for protection from Islamic violence. As a result of his speaking out against Islam and revealing the violent nature of the religion, his co-producing with Stand Up America Now of the film called The Innocent Prophet, and because he converted from Islam to Christianity, he faces certain death if Spain sends him back to Pakistan. This is again a result of Western Society bowing to the fear and intimidation of Islam and shows the very nature of Islam.
Spain is citing Penal Code 510 as a reason to prosecute Imran. This Code refers to inciting or provoking hatred or violence, which Imran has not done. Spain’s Ministry of Foreign affairs has threatened to revoke Imran’s asylum status, stating that his YouTube, The Innocent Prophet, is “destabilizing” because of the “extreme indignation and sensitivity” of the world’s Muslims.
For those who are unfamiliar with his case Imran runs a website called Mundo sin Islam (World without Islam). He is an apostate from Islam and has produced a film called The Innocent Prophet. Ordinarily this would not be a problem but the prophet in question happens to be the Islamic Prophet Mohammed. The actions of Western politicians give the impression that Mohammed is entitled to greater reverence and superior protection than other Prophets.
This is Sharia Law and it is being applied in Western Europe against the interests and the wishes of the European public. Europe is moving back to restrictions on thought and expression that most people thought that we had permanently left behind during the Spanish Inquisition!
Of course it was the imminent publication of The Innocent Prophet on December 14th that sparked the draconian and Shariaesque attitude of the Spanish Government. If he had made a film about Moses, Christ, or Siddhārtha Gautama Buddha there would be not problem. There would certainly not be a threat of deportation to Pakistan — an Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member state well know for tolerating religious persecution within its borders.
The action of the Spanish state follows the state of Belgium increasing its security threat level specifically due to the imminent release of this film. It seems clear that the pro-sharia EU old boy network has been busy creating a mechanism to create as much alarm and distress to Mr. Firasat as possible rather than standing up to the hecklers veto.
In Pakistan, the country to which the Spanish Government wants to deport Mr. Firasat, attitudes regarding blasphemy against Islam and apostasy from it are of a kind that were prevalent in Europe during the Middle Ages. Imran Firasa is an apostate from Islam — a capital crime under Sharia law. If they send him to Pakistan then the Spanish government are effectively condemning him to death. This is completely unacceptable and the Spanish Government should be ashamed of itself.
The Spanish Government are effectively threatening the life of Mr. Firasat. They are no better than inquisitors such as Tomás de Torquemada who roamed around Spain in a previous age leaving terror in his wake. The spiteful threat against Mr. Firasat is part of a new Europe-wide inquisition that is being carried out against Sharia opponents and other dissidents opposed to EU and religious tyranny. Europe is clearly no longer a continent where freedom is cherished.
