Police Look for More Suspects and Victims in Church Sex Scandal

Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma is a charismatic church that has everything — a food and clothing distribution ministry, a radio station, two schools and now … a police investigation.
It all stems from a rape that allegedly occurred August 13th, but wasn’t reported to authorities for more than two weeks. 20 year-old Chris Denman is accused of raping a 13 year-old girl he met at Camp Victory summer camp. It supposedly happened in a stairwell near the band room. 23 year-old Israel Shalom Castillo is accused of propositioning a 15 year-old girl via Facebook. He also met the girl at summer camp. The two suspects were fired before police were notified.
Five church employees are charged with failure to report the incidents in a timely manner and have been suspended from their jobs. That includes a son and daughter-in-law of Pastor Sharon Daugherty, who founded the church with her husband Billy Joe, who passed away in 2009. Police say Daugherty knew about the allegations, but wasn’t charged because she thought her staff was notifying authorities as required.
Police are trying to interview additional, possible victims, but according to Sergeant Brandon Wykoff, "We're not exactly having cooperation with some of the parents." It is unclear if there will be additional suspects.
