Miracle Baby Needs Another MiracleMiracle Baby Needs Another Miracle
by Steve Eastman, Faith Issues The story of the baby found alive in a hospital morgue in Argentina captured world attention last month. But far fewer people have heard the bad news that doctors now say only 10 percent of the little girl’s brain is functioning. Luz Milagros, whose name means light and miracles, was taken to Buenos Aires a few days ago for neurological tests after suffering seizures. The doctors have mostly given up hope. They’ve stop medications and decided not to operate, but are continuing with hydration and a ventilator. Meanwhile, the girl’s parents — husband and wife, Analia Bougue and Fabian Veron — are keeping faith. They’re believing for the two-month old to heal and are asking for prayer. © 2012 Faith Issues Search by Keyword |
